Update your App:
Ensure that your Instagram has been updated to the latest version.
Making the switch:
If you’ve just updated you should be welcomed with this notification. Notice the gear icon on the top right corner? Tap that icon to access your settings.
Connecting your Facebook account:
Scroll down and select the “switch to business profile” tab. You’ll then be directed to Facebook where you can follow the prompts to process authentication.
If you’re in Social Media (like me) you’d want to scroll past the many pages you manage (sigh!) and access your intended page. Select the page and success, you’ve connected!
Your profile will now feature a Contact button for people to reach your business. You have the ability to add a phone number, email, or location so customers can reach you directly from your profile.
Analytics and Insights:
Sitting next to the settings icon on the top, is the insights icon. Click on it to view your Instagram data. Here you can view the impressions and reach from your posts, plus the number of website clicks.
